Description
MONOCRYL™ Monofilament Suture, Violet, 36", Size 2-0 is an absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of poliglecaprone 25, a copolymer of glycolide and e-caprolactone. It is designed for soft tissue approximation where short-term wound support is sufficient. The suture features a smooth monofilament construction that minimizes tissue drag and reduces trauma during passage through tissue.
This suture is violet in color, providing enhanced visibility during surgery. The suture exhibits low tissue reactivity, making it a suitable choice over natural sutures such as chromic gut.
